My favorite things to cook
DF/MF - I'm allergic to dairy, so I always find the substitutes, and I've been meat-free for two years, though I was once a big meat-lover and have no qualms about slow cooking some sweet BBQ chicken for my loved ones, when the day calls for it. I simply prefer to make meals without unnecessary chemicals. As fresh as it can come is important to me.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My dad's chili... I'll have to dig up that recipe... my grandmother's lace cookies... and my mother's summer gazpacho soup.
My cooking triumphs
An incredible vegan basil pesto I found online made with cashews as the sub for cheese. I will find and post. (And credit.) Downright amazing.
