Creamy Strawberry Crepes

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2012
I only made the crepe recipe, but these are dangerous. So easy to make topped with strawberries and whipped cream. Wonderful.

These cookies are really good. I added white chocolate chips for an extra little bit to them.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
I read both the good and the bad reviews for this recipe. For those who are going to try this recipe, the key is to taste your food. I added cinnamon, nutmeg, used milk instead of water, and added a touch of apple cider vinegar. The idea for this recipe is great but you have to be willing to try the food. If it doesn't suite your taste, then change it. Don't blame a recipe. I'm giving four stars as I did adjust the recipe to suite my tastes, but still a really great pie!

Ruth's Grandma's Pie Crust

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
Very good pie crust. I used 1 cup butter and 3/4 shortening and it still turned out really good. I like the fact that the recipe makes quite a bit of dough, as now I have extra in my freezer for the next pie.

Spanish Rice II

I changed the recipe a bit to make it a main dish. I added Kielbasa sausage at the very end. This is a fabulous dish.

Pierogi (Polish Dumplings)

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2011
I really like this recipe. Though I do have a tip for some people. Don't cook the perogies right away. Seal them up and then freeze them for two days. It lets them bind and are less likely to open up when cooking.
