this is a great starting point. I altered quite a bit. I have never made chili before but love it. I omitted the olive oil and water because I like a thicker chili. I did add 1 cup of chicken broth because of everything else i added it got a little bit too thick. I used all of the spices and then added 4 stalks of celery, a can of corn, parsley, 5 jalapenos, 1 green pepper, can of green chilis garbanzo beans, 4 roma tomatoes and used 4 garlic cloves. It is in the crock pot right now and smells amazing and my little sample tastes have been great! I am excited to scoop up a bowl and top with cheese and a small spoonful or sour cream.
I have finally found a great recipe for chili! THANKS!
