Turkey Avocado Panini

Wonderful little sandwich, and very flexible too. I've replaced the roasted red peppers with thinly slice tomato, and used homemade whole wheat onion buns with equal success. Thanks so much for sharing!

Pizza Dough III

I've made this pizza dough lots of times now, and all I can say is awesome. One change I've made and use consistently at this point is I use 1/2 whole wheat bread flour and 1/2 all purpose flour. With this half and half mix of flours I usually end up using almost 1 cup of each exactly. I also add 1 tsp or so of dried rosemary along with the flours, and I knead my dough for 4 minutes or so before letting it rise. Best part is this dough freezes fantastic! I usually double the recipe and stick half in the freezer before allowing it to rise. Pop it out, allow it to thaw and it does the rising at the same time. Best baking time in my oven (after way too much experimentation) is 5 minutes at 425, followed by 20 minutes at 400. If you let the pizza cool for 5 minutes on a rack before serving it'll be nice and crispy and firm enough to handle the heaviest of toppings. Thanks so much for the stellar recipe!

Light Wheat Rolls

Fantastic recipe, turns out wonderful every time. One thing that did take me off guard was how sweet these rolls are - they're *sweet*! Really nice as rolls served with a dinner of meat and potatoes, but definitely not a sandwich roll, if that makes sense. (Note: as a salt hound, I'm biased - it could very well be these are perfect for 99.9% of the population's sandwiches and I'm the weirdo.) I've made the recipe cutting the sugar in half too and it's turned out terrific.

Chunky Cheesecake Brownies

The first time I made these I felt like I was cheating at baking, these are that good, and that easy to make. If I could I'd made them every day, they're that good. Based on other reviewers comments I cut the sugar to 1/4 cup for the brownie part, and I only used 1/3 cup chocolate chips for the cream cheese part; both changes were perfect. The cream cheese mixture can be a little bit tough to spread if it isn't warm enough, so I let mine sit on the preheating oven beforehand, which worked well. Only other thing I did differently was I added a tsp of vanilla to the chocolate butter mixture. Amazing recipe, thank you so much!!

Butter Chickpea Curry

I really wanted to like this recipe, it looked like it was going to be so terrific! Unfortunately it really just tasted like condensed tomato soup to us. I think we need to cultivate our condensed tomato soup tastebuds before I'll attempt this again. Thank you all the same though!
