Curried Cauliflower

Made this the other night and it was delicious. Next time I will cut down on the mayo. I topped it with panko bread crumbs and cut out the butter entirely.

I really enjoyed this soup! I followed the recipe exactly - just added a pinch more salt. Hubby loved it too!

Very good! Stuck to the recipe for the most part, but I added half a cup of frozen peas and carrots. So easy and so quick...delicious!

Pineapple Macadamia Nut Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2009
This is a very good recipe. The cake is moist and delicious. Next time, I will add another 1/2 cup of macadamias for sure. I was pretty generous with the pineapple - I added a little more than 8 ounces. I baked this cake in a nonstick bundt pan. Thank you for sharing your recipe!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2009
There's a reason why this recipe has 5000+ reviews and mine may not make much of a difference. But these are THE best cookies. Put what you want for nuts and chocolate. I added macadamias, whole walnuts, and semisweet chocolate chunks. Very good recipe and it will become my "go-to" chocolate chip cookie recipe! Thank you!!!

Ricotta Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
This is a delicious cake and exactly what I was looking for! It is definitely different than just any old cake. I used my springform cheesecake tin lined with parchment paper. Some changes I made: I added the zest of one orange and chopped, toasted, walnuts to the ricotta mixture. When the cake was done, I flipped the cake so that the ricotta ended up on top. I topped it with a mixture that included 4 tbsp of apricot jam and 2 tbsp of brandy. Instead of walnuts you could also add toasted, chopped, or shaved almonds. This is a perfect dessert if you don't want something too sweet. It's just too good!

Spicy Bok Choy in Garlic Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2009
Delicious! Better than what I can get at any Chinese restaurant! No significant changes - except that I used baby bok choy and cut it into strips (like cole slaw) so I didn't have to worry about cooking the white parts separately. Less work, I think! Don't forget to rinse the bok choy either!

Hot and Sour Chinese Eggplant

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2009
Excellent dish! As other reviewers, I decided to use rice wine vinegar instead of the red wine. I cut back on the oil (1 Tbsp)- thank you, my teflon pan! I also added one clove of minced garlic to the sauce and some scallions at the end. Overall, delicious and it will definitely be a staple for me.

Blueberry Crisp II

I love this blueberry crisp! You do NOT taste the mayo. I used frozen blueberries, coated lightly with flour and followed the recipe exactly. I turned out like I had hoped and I will use it again!

This was an easy recipe to make. It was delicious and my family has requested that I make it this Thanksgiving! One of the few recipes I have not made any changes to. And that's saying a lot!

Creamy Cucumber Salad

This is good recipe. However, since I didn't have plum tomatoes, I added chopped Vidalia onion. Yum! It's a nice variation.

I love this recipe! I will use it from now on. I did substitute one can of hot Rotel tomatoes for the chopped cherry tomatoes and jalapenos. It turned out delicious!!! I will be making this again and again!

This turned out perfectly but you have to be patient and cook it the recommended time. Next time, I might put in a little less salt.

Sweet and Gooey Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2007
I trid this recipe and I found it entirely too salty. I will not try it again. With a recipe that needs so many alterations, (low sodium soy sauce, less chili, more chili, more garlic, more brown sugar, etc.) does it really deserve such a high rating?
