Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
My son requested chocolate chip cookies today, so I came here in search of the best recipe. I have failed at making cc cookies in the past - even following the recipe on the bag :( I read some reviews before I started and for me this turned out to be a good recipe. One reviewer didn't have enough flour, so they used blended oat meal - that prompted me to sub 1 cup of ap flour for one cup of ww flour. Why not? I also took the advice of another reviewer and doubled the vanilla and salt. I did not have nuts on hand, and also had fewer chocolate chips than the recipe called for. I think my cookies spread out a little more for not having those things though, they did not spread out too much, though. After running the first two pans I increased the oven to 375 degrees - seemed to help with browning and cooking faster. Otherwise I always have to add 2-3 minutes to baking time. Next time I'd love to use dark brown sugar for a better color, and the cream of tartar to give them the cracked appearance as suggested by another reviewer. They are crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside - a good base to change to your liking!

Fish Tacos
I didn't have everything on hand to fry the fish, so I baked it in the oven, then shredded it. The sauce is delicious and most of my family loved it! Some of the kids don't like fish, but they will since I am adding it to our favorites!

Chicken Noodle Casserole I
I had to sub penne pasta for the egg noodles because I didn't have any. I also added broccoli and cauliflower that I had in the fridge. Didn't add butter to the crackers, just crushed them on top. Fed my kids and the neighbor kids and everyone loved it!
