Three Bean Salad

Reviewed: May 27, 2003
This was a really great and easy recipe! I made it for our Memorial Day BBQ, and we loved it! I, too, used 1/2 cup of sugar instead of 3/4. I will make this again!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2003
I think this is awesome! I, too added some changes. I put 3 bananas in my food processor, and blended, then I took a fourth and chopped it. I added a tsp. of cinnamon, 1/4 cup of milk and 1/3 or white sugar. It cooked for a little over an hour, and came out awesome!

Corned Beef and Cabbage I

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2003
This was really good. The corned beef turned out dry, so I don't know if 50 min per lb was too long, but still it was tasty. I used red cabbage to add color to the plate. I made this as a surprise on the one year anniversary of our trip to Ireland. My husband was very pleased!

Restaurant-Style Coleslaw I

I don't usually like cole slaw at all, but I was making ribs and having guests over so I wanted to make some. THIS WAS SO GOOD! Everyone loved it, and I will definitely make it again!

Herald's Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2004
I give this 5 stars only because of my addition. I have made this before, and not been impressed with it. But I added 1 drained can of Rotel Original (tomatoes and chilies. It added just the "kick" this recipe needs! My husband and I pratically inhaled it, it was so good! Hahahaha

Creamy Pesto Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2004
Oh My! This dish was fanstastic!! My family LOVED it! I will definitely make it again. I substitued 1/2 cup of milk (in lieu of using 2 full cups of heavy cream, 1.5 cups cream, .5 of milk), and took off a tbsp of butter ....I was trying to make it less atery clogging! I LOVED THIS Dish, can't wait to eat the leftovers for lunch!

Quick and Easy Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2006
So good, and so easy!! I did what other cooks suggested, and added crab meat, and shrimp. I also added some corn at my husband's request. And for a little added flavor, I sauteed some chopped onion and celery in bacon fat, and added it as well! So yummy!!!

Singaporean Tender Pork Spare Ribs

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2006
My husband and I LOVED this! It was so yummy!! I personally don't like spare ribs, so next time I make it I think I will use a pork roast sliced or something, but the flavor was phenomenal!! I made it with Coconut Jasmine Rice and it was a wonderful accompaniment to the dish!! I will definately make this one again, it made me feel like a gourmet chef! ;o)

Cornish Game Hens with Garlic and Rosemary

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2006
This was really good, and pretty as a picture, but it needed to cook longer than the recipe said. We were famished by the time it was done and ready to eat, so that was good! I served it with wild mushroom couscous, and asparagus! Would make again

Bob's Mexican Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2006
I loved this recipe! My husband thinks it was only a four star, but I would give it 6 if I could. I upped the peppers, onions and mushrooms to 1/2 cup each. Then spread the leftover pepper mixture around the chicken in the baking dish. I also added a teaspoon of cream cheese in the roll up as other reviewers suggested. I topped it with the extra sauce made by the pepper/onion/mushroom mixture, and sour cream. Served with Plantains and black beans and rice. Even my 2 year old loved this!! :o)

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2006
This was good, not fabulous, but good. My 2 year old ate 2 helpings, but it was missing something for me. It needed a little more texture or flavor. We all loved the topping though, very yummy!
