Amazing, simply amazing! My husband and I can't stop eating it. Easy to make- I wouldn't change a thing!

Best Chicken Ever

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2008
Very, very good! I found it very messy to coat the chicken with sour cream but other than that, it was so simple and the result is delicious and the chicken is so flavorful and crispy. Like the others, I eyed the sour cream and cornflake crumbs. I marinated the chicken in sour cream and then also coated it and still used less than 2 cups. I added salt, pepper and Italian seasoning to the cornflake crumbs. It's a keeper!

Pretty good. This is much better if you add onions and mushrooms. Also, no extra salt is needed if you use the condensed soup.

Chocolate Pound Cake III

I liked the texture but the flavor was blah. I don't know if it needed high quality cocoa but it didn't call for it...I was not impressed with this recipe and was so disappointed because I was really looking forward to it.

Easy, Speedy Corn Muffins

I love this recipe! Finally I enjoy cornbread. I knew I could like it, but I just never had cornbread I liked until this! Everything else is dry and crumbly. This is moist, has a great texture and delicious taste! I'd give it more stars if I could!

This was good but not great. I liked that it was quick and easy. I'm not sure I would make it again.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are great cookies. I get a lot of compliments on them. Sometimes when I want to make them a little healthier, I substitute 1/2 cup of wheat bran for 1/2 cup of flour. I also use some Splenda baking mix. They turned out pretty good this way and were gobbled up by my nephews.

Health Nut Blueberry Muffins

I got this recipe from my mom. Somehow her muffins always turn out better than mine. We make them the same way though...anyway, these taste great and it's nice to know they're a bit healthier.

No Bake Peanut Butter Bars

Delicious! A few changes I made: I added chocolate chips in the batter instead of melted chocolate over top. I love it this way. Also, after I refrigerate if for a bit, I cut it into squares and put them in baggies to freeze them. That way it lasts a lot longer and I like the frozen treat. I don't know if others will though. I eat one of these a day; I'm addicted!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

I enjoyed this dish although I don't think it's my favorite mac and cheese dish. It was a little tangy which didn't bother me but bothered my husband a little.

Aunt Millie's Broccoli Casserole

Calls for way too much salt. I wish I had read the reviews before making. It was good though. Next time I will omit all extra salt. Also, mine didn't fit in a 9x13. I had to go a size down. And I used cheddar cheese instead of American. Was yummy!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2007
Best meatloaf I've ever made, one of the best I've ever had. I only sprinkled a little brown sugar and a little ketchup on the bottom. 1/2 cup of each seemed too much to me. Next time I'll put a little more than I did this time.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2007
I like this recipe. It's got a lot of really good flavor and is easy to make. I, like the others, cooked bite-size pieces of chicken in the skillet to save time. The first time I made it I used 2 cans of spinach but think it only needed one so changed it the second time. It's a nice variation from traditional chicken dishes in my opinion. I played with the dish the two times I made it and it turned out great each time. Seems hard to mess up!

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Mmmmm. I skipped the cloves, was 3 tablespoons short on shortening (added 3 T. butter) and it still turned out yummy. I'm not sure why so many people had problems, but I'm glad they turned out for me. They've got a good taste and a great texture. The only problem I had was that a few of them are not staying together but most of them are.

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Just like everyone says, it's delicious! Instead of the liqueur, I added 1/4 cup milk and 1/4 cup coffee. And I used 1 cup chocolate chips and lite sour cream. I baked it for 20 minutes in muffin pans shaped like bundt cakes. Wonderful!

Nutty Zucchini Bread

Not bad! It cooked a little dense, so I feel I'll have to toast it before I eat it, but my husband who swears he doesn't like squash or zucchini liked this bread. It had a nice flavor.
