Absolutely delicious! Very moist, I used a 9X13 and cooked a little longer to make up for the thicker cake. I also stored in the fridge, its great cold.

Pork Chalupas

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2012
for people on Low sodium diets, you can alter this a tad and still enjoy it and still only consume 400-500 gr sodium per serving. Do not add salt and use corn tortillas, they are sodium free. Rinse your chiles before adding them to remove some of the salt.

excellent cherry pie and very simple! I went to MI yesterday and froze alot of cherries but just had to make a pie. I did not have almond flavoring and it did not need it. Very good. I used my own crust.

Canned Apple Pie Filling

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2011
worked perfectly. Be careful not to pack your apples too tight because the liquid mixture gets very thick and has a hard time surrounding the apples. Next time I think I will pack them half full add liquid and then add more slices until filled. Smells heavenly!

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2011
MY FAVORITE SOUP! I bake my butternut squash whole and then cut it in half and pull the peel right off, put it in the blender to puree. I bought a bunch from a local farm market so I can freeze 6 cup bags so I am ready to make this all year long.

Chocolate Frosting I

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2011
the perfect super chocolately frosting you will always have the ingredients on hand to make! I topped my yellow cake mix. I should have doubled the recipe for my 13x9 pan to give a generous spread, but this will do.

Cherry Enchiladas

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2008
I just had a really good feeling about this one and tripled the recipe and took it to work and the ladies in my office loved it! I have to give out the recipe now to many. My husband and I decided this is better than pie. I used my frozen MI cherries and made my own filling by just cooking 2 qts of cherries w 1 cup sugar and 1/3 cup flour til it thickened. Canned fillings of any fruit of course can be substituted. I am going to do apple next, but make my apple filling. This is a great recipe! Thank you for submitting it.

Banana Peanut Butter Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2011
Loved it! I had to alter my recipe because I only had 1 cup of flour and I was doubling the recipe to make 2 loaves so I used 3 cups of whole wheat flour and you would have never known it. It is delicious. My son couldn't tell it was healthy!

Carrot Cake III

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2009
Made this for a friends birthday, was told best carrot cake ever had. Took left overs to work.... not a crumb remains. I made a layer cake since it was for a birthday on Friday and it is good for days, it actually improves, keep it wrapped up and in the fridge. This is the perfect recipe as is. If you make layers bake layers 30-40 min. Will make this again soon.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2008
As good as everyone says, I served it for dinner guests and brought the leftovers to work and I gave the recipe to many colleagues! I served it at home w/ thinly sliced baguette but since I didn't have any of that left I just grabbed a bag of pretzels and we smeared it in the spread... yummy!
