Favorite Old Fashioned Gingerbread

i used organic sugar for the white sugar, added 1 teaspoon of vanilla, a half a cup of applesauce, 1/2 a pack of ginger tea instead of ground ginger, and 2 teaspoons ground allspice instead of ground cloves. this cake is moist and delicious with just the right amount of sweetness. it is easy to put together and lovely to make. definitely a favorite.
