Pop's Dill Pickles
These pickles are so good! I followed the recipe exactly, except I guess I didn't read it thoroughly and I skipped the ice bath. The pickles still came out wonderfully! I enjoy the little bit of sweetness and like the fact that they are not overwhelmingly vinegary. Will make again and again. My family requests them now. This year I am trying to zest some of the jars up by adding some hot peppers!

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles
Soooooooooo good! Addictive! For me, they were the PERFECT consistency, exactly as described--crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I added a bag of cinnamon chips to the recipe and should have compensated for the extra sugar by cutting back on the amount I put in. Next time I will use 1/2 cup less. Also, I added some fresh grated nutmeg. Next time I will do that as well. One last thought: Next time I will add the cinnamon to the dough and use different colored sugars only to roll them in before baking to give them a more festive look! I can color code them green and gold for our favorite team! GREAT RECIPE! Thank you so much for sharing!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake
I followed the recipe as written, using the video as a guide. It was very easy to make. I agree whole-heartedly with another reviewer who said this was "like cheesecake" but it was not the kind of cheesecake I expected. The richness and density just were not there. I topped it with freshly picked strawberries and strawberry glaze and those additions made it look beautiful. I was expecting a dense and creamy texture with a sweeter, more buttery crust. To me, cheesecake should be so rich that you couldn't possibly eat more than a small sliver, and this missed that benchmark. That's just me. I feel that if I'm going to spend the calories they should be worth it. On to the next one!
