I used this recipe for a baby shower cake a couple of weeks ago. It was divine! Filled a 12" and a 6" round pan with one batch. Made a second batch to complete the cake. It was so moist and fluffy! I did read the comments ahead of time and reduced the amount of milk as recommended. The sifting process took a little extra time, but is well worth the effort to have such a great cake. The vanilla and almond extracts make the cake very flavorful as well, which is unusual for a white cake. My family didn't get to eat any since it was for a shower, so last weekend I made half the recipe just to eat at home. My precious granddaughter chose the icing color and called it "her" cake. It was a big hit - didn't even last the whole weekend!
