About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Healthy (and, in my sister's eyes, very weird) concotions. Savory nut and seed trail mixes...stir fry with unorthodox blends of veggies...omlettes with more herbs than eggs.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Making rice pudding for Christmas. Almost nothing is as nostalgic as a bowl of thick, creamy pudding on a wintery New England evening.
My cooking tragedies
Making Indian pudding...with about 5 times the needed amount of spices. It was so hideously awful, even my chickens turned up their beaks at it!

Quinoa Pudding
Did not like this recipe at all. Even though I'm a huge fan of quinoa, the texture in this instance threw me off. Neither was there enough sweetness to the pudding. It was very...meh. Quite unappetizing.

Quinoa Side Dish
This is a great base recipe...I would, however, leave out the salt. The broth contains more than enough for the recipe.
