Aw-some Cole Slaw
Just finished making this ahead for a weekend with friends. All my friends are huge foodies and I didn't hesitate to select this as a side to a slow-cooker pulled-pork. A few calorie saving changes...used Splenda in place of sugar, coconut/almond milk in place of dairy milk, and low fat mayo. Did these changes the first time and nobody noticed. My husband, who loves Coles slaw, said this was by far the best.

Smooth Sweet Tea
Love it! I triple the recipe and itis still perfect. The baking soda is the the key to the smoothness. I use Luzianne ice tea brewing bags. The bags are double the size of a normal bag so I use 5 for a triple brew. I am trying to use a sugar substitute. Haven't found the key for that yet.

Slow Cooker Pierogie Casserole
Loved this recipe as a jumping off point and inspiration but changed quite a bit. First, I agree with the other people. This does not need to slow cook. You can easily cook and combine and let simmer on very low for just 10 minutes or so. Added spicy kielbasa and chicken broth. You can also add some caraway seeds if you like. I would change the portions next time. 1 head of cabbage is not enough for 4 packages of pierogies. Once you get going you end up with a pretty quick comfort meal.
