Puppy Chow I

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2012
So so good! A couple of changes/additions I make: use a 12 oz box, and add 1 tsp of vanilla to the melted mixture. I get a big big bowl and stir as I pour the melted mixture over the cereal. Once the cereal is coated, I take the bag that the cereal came in and add some powdered sugar and a few scoops of coated cereal and shake that bag! I repeat that a few times until the whole amount is done. Then pour into another big bowl and eat as much as I desire (and there's a lot!)

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2012
Easy and delicious! I put the dough in the freezer for a couple of minutes after mixing to make it easy to form the balls. After making the balls, I put them in the freezer again to make the dipping easier. I use two forks when dipping; drop the ball in, roll it around, and pick up dripping the excess with the forks. They go into the freezer one last time to set. After that I enjoy them very much.

Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2012
So good! I usually don't like peanut buttery sweets, but I needed a frosting to top my cupcakes so I tried this and so glad I did! Followed the recipe exactly but I added 2 tsp of vanilla. Perfect!

Cherry Pineapple Cabana Dump Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2011
A dear family friend of ours used to make this, and it was a favorite of ours for a long time. We prepared it somewhat differently though. Instead of melting the butter, we sliced thin pieces of butter and distributed them all over the top of the cake mix, then we topped with crushed walnuts and coconut. It's such a simple and quick (and delicious) dessert to make!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2011
These were the perfect brownies, taste and texture! I doubled the recipe, and made them in a 9x13 inch pan. I thought they were going to be thicker, but the richness of the flavor made up for that. For the frosting, I microwaved it after combining all the ingredients to make it more spreadable. I don't think there can be another recipe to top this one.
