Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch

Definitely try this. It was pretty good. I only gave it 4 stars because I didnt think there was anything extraordinarily special about it. I did like that I didnt have to make an extra trip to the store to get canned mushroom soup or what not. And I made the roux in the same pan after browning the onion, celery and mushrooms. Just saves you from washing an extra pan. And I went ahead and added some cream cheese as someone else suggested. I think it added a pleasant extra cheesy flavor. I didnt add the crunch topping because I just forgot about it. If that was what would have made it extra special than it was my fault. But its just crumbs and butter. You be the judge.

Fluffy Pancakes

First of all I'm going to say that im no professional chef, but I have been cooking for my family for 25 years. And I have made pancakes from scratch thousands of times. I used this recipe because of all the positive reviews. I wasn't sure to use 3/4 cup of milk to 1 cup of flour. And all that vinegar in the milk? But I went ahead and did it. The "batter" looked more like watery, lumpy dough. It was so dense i could not pour it in the skillet. I had to spoon it. Then it sat on the skillet like a ball, so only a nickel sized circle browned at the bottom. I went back to the directions to see if i was suppose to flatten it. Nope. When i flipped it over it just looked wrong. I could not flatten it with my spatula without getting the uncooked "batter" on it. After having to flip it twice it did not look appetizing. I gave it a try anyway before serving it of course. It tasted even worse than it looked. All that vinegar is all you can taste. Im sorry for the bad review as I know its hard to measure and write down a recipe.

Flourless Chocolate Cake I

I followed the recipe exactly as written. I tried this because it looked good in the picture and because of all the great reviews. The chocolate was expensive but i thought it would be worth it. It turned out bitter and just didnt taste right. It did indeed look exactly like picture.

Cranberry Cream Cheese Bars

I didn't like this. It was messy to make. Messy to cut. Messy to eat. If it had tasted a bit better it would have been worth it but it did not, so it wasn't. I was going to try to make it again but, since I perfectly followed the instructions, I don't see how it would make a difference.

Sopapilla Cheesecake Dessert

I made this very simple recipe yesterday and it came out awesome. I had actually tried another recipe in this site similar to this one that came out really soggy. The difference was the definitly the crunchy topping of sugar and cinnamon with almonds. Will make again.

Easy Homestyle Green Beans

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

ok I stupidly made this first with all the suggestions by other reviewers. It is a mistake I will not be making again. I had to give it to my mother in law. The second time I made it exactly as written and it was much much better....the way, in my opinion, pumpkin bread should taste. The sugar made all the difference. If you're dieting or have a condition that forbids this much sugar I suggest staying away from this recipe instead of modifing it. Its just not worth it. Thanks for sharing.

Best Football Dip Ever

I made this because my boys love cheese. It was really good. Just wanted to note that if you have a super amazing salsa on hand (like home made) there is really no need for taco seasoning or what-not that some reviewers suggested. And although it was awesome, it didnt look appealing so ill remember to dress it better (not that my boys care...)

Best Ever Jalapeno Poppers

I loved these and so did my family. i added more bacon as others suggested and baked mine instead. A hint to those that found these mild - When picking a JalapeƱo chilies know that they progressively get hotter the older they get. As they age, they develop white lines and flecks, like stretch marks running in the direction of the length of the pepper. The smoother the pepper, the younger, and milder it is. The more white lines, the older and hotter. Also for those who found them bland I suggest seasoning your flour some.

Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

This is a good recipe. Ive made these a few times and always end up adding something extra. Besides adding the extra 1/4 cup of PB and flour I also added 1 tsp of butter flavor extract. So good. Also cooked at 350 for exactly 9 mins and it was perfect using my electric stove.

Mary's Meatloaf

I gave this two stars because my boys love meatloaf but hated this one. I followed the recipe without the suggestions. The main thing they hated was all the onion. Maybe this is a more grown up kind of meatloaf. Just not one I would make again.

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Ive made this several times for my family and never have any leftovers. My one year old nephew couldnt stop eating it the last time i made it. The changes i made were i used 9 eggs and some garlic salt some fresh herbs and used yellow onion since that is what I usually have in the fridge. And I also use whatever cheese i have. I eat mine with jalapenos. YUM
