Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2006
I was very disappointed by this recipe - not much flavor. I think it could be improved by adding salt and possibly using brown sugar instead of white.

Slow Cooker Moroccan Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2011
I thought this was pretty good to begin with, although it seemed like it was missing "something." I've been eating it as leftovers with a dish of plain yogurt on the side. From the second day on, the flavors had a chance to blend.

Very tasty, but must be eaten at once. Not good as leftovers!

Berry Sour Cream Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2008
I thought this recipe was very good. Delicious, and it held up for several days after baking. Yum! It was definitely best on the first day. Perfect for a party.

Cinnamon Raisin Bread I

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2008
This was my first time trying this recipe. I substituted 2 cups of fine whole wheat flour for two cups of the all-purpose flour. They still came out well, although they probably didnĀ“t rise as high as they would have without whole wheat flour.

Broccoli Beef I

Very yummy! I use extra garlic and ginger, though. I think the beef broth is great for the flavor.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2013
Good recipe, but 1 t pepper was way too much. Talk about burning. We could tell that the soup was good but the pepper taste was just overwhelming. I'll keep the recipe, but next time I will halve the pepper. We aren't wimps either, we regularly eat things with lots of spices/chile peppers. However, the amount of pepper in this recipe wasn't appropriate for the soup.

Raspberry Almond Coffeecake

I sprinkled pearl sugar on top before baking, in addition to almonds. I didn't think this cake kept well.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2012
Pretty good. I had to use chicken broth instead of beer because I was afraid of the weird taste people were talking about. Next time I might cut back to two chicken breasts, because this really was a lot of chicken even though the breasts I used weren't huge.
