Old-Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2015
These are the most marvelous pancakes I have ever made, or eaten for that matter!! The only changes I made to this recipe are insignificant to the impeccable texture and flavor these pancakes have with no changes! However the changes I did make consist of: letting the milk warm to room temperature and whisking the egg, then melted butter, then a splash of pure vanilla extract, and I also sprinkled some cinnamon in with the dry mix for a little more flair. TALK ABOUT DELICIOUS! I could have these for breakfast every day. Also I cannot stress enough how important it is to let the batter rest. That is where the fluffy pancakes come from! Thanks for the wonderful recipe!!

Creamy Herbed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2015
I made this recipe exactly as it was written and it was PHENOMENAL! It did make a lot of sauce for 4 pork chops, but I used every drop of it on them, and the fried potatoes and angel hair pasta I made for sides. This was seriously a marvelous dinner! The only thing I would do differently next time is use a little less steak seasoning and double it! This will forever be a 'go to' recipe in my house!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2014
I would have given the recipe 5 stars, but I did have to make one change to make the dip have the zing I was looking for. I had to add a bit more hot sauce than what was stated (I'd guess it to be a whole cup vs the 3/4c) when I tasted the dip before baking it, it was very light and cream cheesy. It was still good, but I was looking for more of that buffalo zing. I also added a light dusting of cilantro for a garnished look. Great recipe none the less!

Baked Kale Chips

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2014
I tried this recipe as written, except for the fact that I sized it down to only 1 serving just to try it out (I'll admit it, I was skeptical). Oh My! This was delicious! I'll forever keep kale in my fridge drawer to make these when I want a good salty snack. I have to say however, these are not like potato chips at all. They're better! (And I even cooked them a little too long. My oven cooks hot I believe.) Although you should beware: Once you start eating you CAN NOT stop! :) Enjoy!
