Chicken and Lentils
This was exactly what I was looking for. Simple, hearty, delicious and healthy. This will definitely be put into regular meal circulation. I used French lentils, and frozen chicken thighs. No tomato sauce, but hit it with a drizzle of high quality balsamic vinegar at the end. I couldn't stop eating it, the kids were mixed reviews, curse that late snack. The hungrier ones loved it, lol. Incidentally, I had soaked the lentils for aboooouut uh, 2 days. I had planned to make it sooner. So I kind of eyeballed the liquids. I served it with some crusty sourdough bread and red wine (for me, not the kids ;)Cheers

Banana Crumb Muffins
Very good, although I didn't have time for the cinnamon sugar in the pan though. But otherwise yum, and yum topping too.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies
I bought some of these at a bake sale during an intermission at my daughters play. All I could think about for the second half of the play was "I NEED that recipe" I was like a crazed person. After the performance I waited by the table asking all the other parents -if any of them knew who brought those cookies?! Like little pumpkin scone bites of Fall perfection. Finally a mom told me where she'd found the recipe. And thus began my relationship with Allrecipes and my pumpkin cookie habit. Nothing better on a fall day than a cup of coffee, some scented candles, rain if I'm lucky, and iced pumpkin cookies *sigh*
