Colombian Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
This was really good and very different. I used legs and thighs, but it turned out great!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2008
This is a very good base recipe, though I made a lot of alterations. First off, I seared all sides of the roast in garlic, olive oil, and black pepper. I also cut slits in the roast and placed a few cloves of garlic in there. I omitted the onion soup mix, but I added real mushrooms in addition to the mushroom soup, and some baby carrots towards the end. I also added a few ounces of red wine.

Eggplant and Tomato Bake

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2008
This was very very good, although I added some more spice than was recommended. I also doubled the amount of tomato sauce and halved the yogurt, which I think I will leave out entirely next time. Very weight watchers friendly, too.

Baked Chicken and Brie

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2006
I enjoyed this. I am not sure why people said the chicken came out dry. I thought it was quite tasty, though I think I will try a sweet wine next time, as I used a wheat and fruit based beer on this run.

Baked Green Tomatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2006
I enjoyed this, though I added a little more spice. It was nice to have a healthy alternative to frying them. They do get crispy and brown, but you have to slice them thinly. Quite tasty!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2005
This is so easy, and it tastes fantastic. I took what was left of the garlic and olive oil mixture and poured it over the chicken before baking, so the chicken stayed very moist, but not soggy. Will definitely make this one a favorite!

Tomato Curry Chicken

A good recipe, tasty, but could have been a bit more flavorful. Will definitely make again with a little tweaking. Easy to make!

Easy Mini Quiches

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2005
These were great, my coworkers couldn't stop complimenting them. However, I did do a little bit of tweaking. I doubled the recipe, but I cut the bisquick by about a third, as I noticed a lot of people saying that the recipe was a little dry. With less bisquick, it was perfect! I used tomato, onion, spinach, and mushroom.

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2003
I just baked these for the guys in the manufacturing plant where I work. They were fabulous! You really need the Mexican vanilla...regular just does not compare..a warning though....the recipe yields far more than one would imagine...though that is not necessarily a bad thing! An excellent cookie!

Grandmother's Famous Cranberry Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2003
I had this recipe as a child, but we lost it in a house fire. It was so nice to surprise my family with it this Christmas! I make it all cranberry, and it is fantastic...the orange really adds a special zing.
