Pizza Fondue

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2015
Took this to our weekly get together and it was a hit! I used pizza sauce like one of the previous reviews suggested and I took pepperoni with us, in case someone wanted to skewer a pepperoni and then their bread, before dipping it in the sauce. Super good! I will be making this again!

Hamburger Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2015
We tried it tonight and loved it! I was out of some of the items so I changed it a little. I used an 8 oz tomato sauce, 14 oz diced tomato can, one can of chicken broth, and one can of beef broth. I had no celery so I added a can of corn, a can of Vegall, and I changed my noodles to colored spirals. I used one dry onion soup mix and one dry onion mushroom soup, just because. It was wonderful. Next time I will add a cup and a half of noodles though.

Calabacitas

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2015
I made it as a side dish for 12 people. I used the "change servings" button and ended up needing 12 zucchini! I only used 6. I added a can of tomatoes and took out one can of corn. It smelled so good but didn't have much flavor. It made too much and it had way too much zucchini in it. I will make it again but I will be adjusting the recipe.

Halloween Bloody Baked Rats

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2014
It was really good! The sauce is a little too sweet for me but my family loved it! At first my boys didn't want to eat them but after a little convincing that they were in fact not rats, they ate them.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2014
I have made potato soup before, but this one is my favorite! I had a little more ham, water, and celery but for the most part I stayed with the recipe. But when I came to bouillon and salt and pepper I used 3 bouillon cubes and I did not measure my salt or pepper. It was perfect! I will be making it again throughout the fall and winter.

Too much of my batter fell off. But I will try it again! It was super good. I added some season salt for a little more flavor.

Bourbon Street Rib-Eye Steak

I used the inside grill but it was tasty. I only marinaded for 4 or 5 hours. Next time I will marinade all night, needs a little more flavor for me.

Baked Eggplant Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2014
I had never made Eggplant Parmesan until I tried this recipe. It was good. But I think the eggplant needs to be seeded and fried, my eggplant pieces were too rubbery and the batter didn't stick as well as it should have. I forgot to use the extra tablespoon of salt and didn't miss it at all. I will be trying this again but I will be frying the eggplant pieces.

Migas II

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2014
Everyone loved it, even my ultra picky 2 1/2 yr old. I think I had 7 tortillas and 8 eggs though. Added mexican season salt to eggs while cooking and added shredded sharp cheddar after making the plates. At the table I added hot sauce to mine and my husbands. I think the recipe is just a starter, you can add whatever you want! I will be making this again!

The Best Spaghetti Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2012
My family liked this. I used only one can of sauce but I added a small can of tomato sauce and some seasonings. And I think I cooked my noodles a little too long. I will make this again.

Slow Cooker Barbeque

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2011
This meal is in my crock pot as I am writing this review. At hour 7 i took the meat out to shred it and i had to sample it! Yummo!!!!!! My picky 3yr old even likes it! My husband said its better than our favorite bbq place! I used generic sauce in Mesquite flavor. I read a review about the grease and fat chunks, well i cut the fat blanket off before i put it in the pot and i ladeled the grease out while i had the meat out to shred it.

Slow-Cooker Lasagne

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
This is the best lasagne I have ever tasted! My family loved it! Even my picky 3yr old. I read some of the reviews and took thier advice. I didnt add the water and mine was done in 3hrs. I added pepperoni and I used a little more sauce. I will make this again! Next time I will add some chopped black olives and chopped mushrooms. The pepperoni makes it a little greasy, but it makes it pop!
