Traditional Lemon Meringue Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2011
this is delicious! i love lemon meringue pie but had never figured out how tho make it before. i was about to make it and realized that i didn't have a lemon. so i used lemon juice in place of the lemon peal. (1tbs lemon juice=1/2 tbs lemon peal) which would be 2 tbs of lemon juice.

Maille® Mini Cheesecakes

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2011
yummmmm...i made these for a bake sale and they were bought out!! it is a very convenient way to serve cheese cake. for all of you not cup to oz conversion wizards, 2 cups is the same as two blocks. :)

Leftover Chicken Croquettes

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2011
The first time that I made it I added more spices (according to some of the other reviews) and the taste was over powering. I would recommend sticking to the original recipe, it tastes much better.

Guacamole

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2011
this was pretty good. if you have leftover guacamole and you would like to save it put the avocado pits in the guacamole because it helps it sat green longer.

Candied Apples III

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2011
this was pretty good but the outside was very hard. we had to use sharp knives to cut through it. also if you are planning on making 12 servings then you need to add about 1c more red hots and even if you are following the recipe add at least another tbsp of water.

Rugelach with Cream Cheese Filling

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2011
these were pretty dry and they tasted like flower. i used 1tbsp of vanilla extract instead of the 2teaspoon in the recipe. i also used 3/4 c sugar (in the dough). these were pretty easy to make and are fun and easy to bring to a party.

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2011
this is wonderful! if you have never made deviled eggs before than you might want to make just a traditional deviled egg first and if you don't like deviled eggs...that won't last long!

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2011
this is delicious! wow...ok while using a 9x13 was fine, the presentation was muck better when i used a truffle dish (or a large tall bowl) also my friend made it with banana pudding and (no offence to her) it was repulsive. use vanilla...for the health and happiness of every one. to make it look more elegant you can crush up some of the wafers and sprinkle them on top, fresh fruit adds a more original touch but i like the more standard look of the bananas and good old nilla wafers. just a personal preference.
