I added 1/3 of the broth at a time, keeping the heat on medium-low until the broth was fully absorbed rather than adding the broth a ladleful at a time

Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes

I doubled the amount of pumpkin and omitted the cloves and allspice. I also only used about half the amount of cinnamon in the frosting. Before they were frosted, they tasted like muffins. Once frosted, they tasted like cupcakes.

Lentils And Spinach

Great when I added sliced carrots in the last ten minutes and served over a diced baked potato. I also added a few tablespoons of lemon juice in the last five minutes. Perfect!

Bulgur Veggie Stir Fry

Great taste, but a little dry. I added teriyaki sauce to the bulgur after it cooked. I also scrambled a few eggs into the mixture during the last three minutes of cooking, which gave it a nice flavor.
