Oatmeal Pancakes II

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2012
This was good and so easy. I just used my blender (no food processor) and add lemon juice to my milk. I didn't have quite enough milk so I added apple cider to make up the difference! Then I topped them with apples and cranberries that I cooked down a little bit. I used applesauce instead of oil, just what I had. My kids ate them up and then wanted more and the extra ones they ate plain and still loved them! I will make this often and double it so there are plenty to freeze!

Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2012
This was great...really don't need any extra liquid. I put foil on top and then the lid because my ham was a little too tall. We put it on high went to church, 4 hrs later came home to a ham falling off the bone. I also added crushed pineapple just because we like the taste of it.

Applesauce Muffin Mix

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2012
I used these for a brunch at a shower and they were great. Everyone loved them and I would make them again. I like chunks of apple in mine so I used extra chunky sauce, that was the only deviation I made from the original!

Corn Chowder I

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2011
This was good the family loved it and I will make it again. I used fresh corn (3 ears) and cooked them with the onions, then added one can of the creamed corn. I also think depending on the quality of your bacon you may need more salt. (I cheaped out on the bacon it was really pricey). I also added a little Tony's at the end...but my family likes it spicy.

Gooey Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2011
This is a really easy cookie! Tasted even better the second day. I made the cherry chip cookies. First batch I over cooked just a tad. My oven is hot so I was much closer to the 10 min. mark. Second batch I added chocolate chips. This was great and I think I'm going to do a pumpkin/spice one next!

Baked Oatmeal I

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2011
My kids and I loved this one! I followed some of the other people's advice and used applesauce instead of the oil. I also used 1/4c. sugar and 1/4c. brown sugar and used 1/2c. peach juice (just because I had it on hand) and 1/2c. milk. I didn't add any other fruit because I wanted everyone to be able to pick their own fruit on top. We had our with fruit and yogurt on top. I will make this one when the family comes into town next month!

Green Bean Fries

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
They were okay but the bread crumbs were too clumpy. I would try again but maybe without the bread crumbs.
