Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2013
Awesome! Used egg replacer since my son is allergic to eggs. We squished the dough into an ice cream scoop, placed the firm dough scoops onto a parchment lined baking sheet and pressed 5 smarties into each scoop of dough. They turned out awesome! Just remember to place the smarties really close together near the top...maybe even touching. The dough will spread out nicely. Putting the smarties too close to the sides will cause them to fall off or flip over to the sides or bottom when baking. I think I baked them for about 15 minutes since we used a medium size ice cream scooper.

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2013
Amazing! I made individual Apple Crisps by putting the apple filling into store bought tart shells, then topping each with the oat mixture and baking for 55 minutes! Soooo awesome!

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2013
I would recommend using 4 tsp cornstarch and making extra topping (50% more). I used canned peaches and it turned out really well. I would also lower the baking temp to 375F or 400F since the top came out a little dark. I will definitely make this again.

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2013
Absolutely AMAZING!!! It was my first time making home made bread. I ruined the first batch because the water I used was too hot and I think it killed the yeast because the dough didn't rise. My second attempt was a COMPLETE success. Followed the recipe exactly (just made a 1/2 batch). I used my Kitchenaid mixer with a dough hook on #2 speed. I DID NOT have to add any extra whole wheat flour during the mixing process. I used a mini loaf pan that had 8 rectangular cavities to put dough and got 8 mini loaves exactly from a 1/2 batch. This recipe is an absolute MUST TRY! Once you do you will be hooked. I am sooo happy I picked this recipe to try. My kids (6yrs & 7 yrs) LOVE this bread SO much!!! Oh, I didn't put the butter on the top of the loaves at the end. It was fine without it. It doesn't have a very hard crust. Grease your pan liberally so it doesn't stick to the pan.
