Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2013
This was soooo easy. If you messed this recipe up...you just can't cook. Did this on Thanksgiving morning, the breast was ready by 2pm. So delicious! I'm doing this every year. The only thing I did differently was add a little chicken broth 2 hours before it was done. I had broth left over from another recipe and I didn't want to waste it...so I just added it. Very good recipe!

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2013
This recipe is great. Of course, I read the reviews and made some changes. I agree, you have to wait until the oil is hot and then place the chops in the pan. I fried them 2-3 minutes on each side. I only placed them in the oven for 45 minutes. Then for the sauce I used a can of cream of mushroom and a can of cream of chicken, substituted chicken broth for the wine and only used 1/4 cup of milk. Poured sauce over chops and baked for another 15 minutes. Delicious! Had enough sauce to pour over the rice w/ the chops. Definitely a keeper recipe.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2013
My 6 year old loved it!!!!!! Now if he likes it...this is definitely a winner. The only thing I will do differently is cut the brown sugar to 1/4 cup. I did use onion soup mix and I chopped up some green peppers. Other than that this recipe was very quick and easy. The kind I like. Definitely making this again. A busy working mom needs quick and delicious meals!

Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2012
This is a great recipe.....and easy!!!!!!! The only thing I did differently was use only 3 pieces of boneless chicken and it came out fine. I was worried about my husband and son not liking it....however, my husband said it was actually good and he will eat the rest for dinner tomorrow. My 5year did like the noodles but not the chicken...but I didn't expect him to like it period. Next time I make it I think I will make less since it's just me and my hubby enjoying it. Other than that, this is a keeper and will definitely be used in the dinner rotation!

Baked Macaroni and Cheese III

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2012
Yes, this is a good base recipe. But I followed some advice from other reviewers. You definitely need 2 cans of evaporated milk. I just used my own judgement with the cheese and also added velveeta. The only thing I forgot to do was add the season salt and pepper. However, the mac and cheese came out great. I will definitely make this again with the modifications.

Glazed Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2012
Great wings! I didn't think I would like it after I put the 3 main ingredients together....however, I after I poured the sauce on the wings....I was kicking myself that I didn't make more. The only thing I did differently was I fried the wings in a deep fryer and I seasoned them with onion and garlic powder and a little bit of salt. Delicious! I will be making these again!

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2012
My hubby loved this cheesecake!!!! I followed the directions to the "T". The only thing I did differently was use strawberry preserves (the raspberry preserves at the market had seeds). My cheesecake did crack, but who cares....it was delicious. I will definitely make this again!!!!

Banana Pancakes I

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2012
Great pancakes!!!! Let me just say, I am not a pancake fan. I prefer waffles or french toast before pancakes. To me, pancakes have no taste whatsoever. Then I thought maybe I should try another version of the pancake recipe. I love bananas therefore, let me try this....well, I made them last night and they were delicious!!!!!! The only thing I did differently was add a little bit more sugar and vanilla extract to the batter. DELICIOUS!!!!! Unfortunately, my husband and 4 year old doesn't like bananas...but who cares!!! These will be for me and me only!!!! Thanks for the recipe!!!!

Honey Lime Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2012
Very good wings!! Made these for Super Bowl and followed the recipe to the "T". However, next time I will season them a little more and double the sauce. I did follow another reviewer's advice and let my wings sit in ther frig coated in flour. I think this made them extra crispy and delicious!!!!

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2012
Very good recipe!!!! I made this for my 4 year old son and he devoured it!!!!!!!! I never would have thought to put flour in a french toast recipe...but this is a keeper. This is my new recipe for french toast. The only thing I did differently was added a little bit more of vanilla extract and cinnamon. Plus, I used brown sugar instead of white.

Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2011
Just made these cookies!!!! They were very good. I'm not a gingerbread cookie fan but when my 4 year son requested that I make some...I found this recipe and it didn't disappoint. My son has eaten 4 so far tonight. I followed the recipe directly as written. The only thing I did differently was bake them for 8-9 minutes and I used instant butterscotch pudding. Very good cookie...will definitely make them again!

Taco Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2011
Very good salad. I made my own personal salad. I put the tortilla chips on the bottom and layered the lettuce on top. I mixed the ground beef, pasta, tomatoes, and green peppers together and sprinkled my cheese on top. I omitted the dressing and added sour cream and salsa. Delicious!!!! Will definitely make again.

Pumpkin Cake III

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2011
Great recipe!!!!! I made this last night and the only changes I made was I halved the recipe and made it in a 8x8 dish. I also doubled the cinnamon and addeed a little bit of nutmeg and ginger. I had to bake it for 45 minutes. After it cooled, I made my own cream cheese frosting and added orange sugar sprinkles. My only concern was my husband who "does not prefer pumpkin anthing"....but tasted it today and said it was very good! I think I'm going to make this for Thanksgiving!!!! Thanks for the great recipe!

Vanilla Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
Very good pie! I have to admit no one in my family makes pumpkin pie....we never have it at any holiday functions....my family prefers sweet potato pie...but I wanted to give it a try...this recipe was fine for those that do not like a spicy pie....however, i did want to taste some spice but I didn't want the pie to be overpowered by the spices. The only thing I did differently was add 1/4 of brown sugar, only 1/2 white sugar, and a little bit more of vanilla. I think next time I will make it a tad sweeter but that's just a personal preference....heck my 4 year old liked it and asked for more. The only test is my husband...he doesn't like pumpkin pie...so we'll see. But overall, i will make this pie for Thanksgiving.
