Sherry Braised Beef Short Ribs

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2014
I just didn't think there was all that much flavor to them, and my family was definitely not very impressed.

Candied Bacon

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2014
Just finished making these today and OMG they are amazing!! I doubled the sauce as others said and was glad I did. I also used 1 1/2 lbs. bacon and had enough sauce. I baked at 375 and took an hour to get done. Lots of basting and flipping time but well worth the results. Plan to use on club sandwiches tonite!!!

Angela's Awesome Enchiladas

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2014
This recipe was awesome! My family, including 2 picky boys, really liked it. Didn't change a thing except subbing chicken broth for the water. Recipe made 8 huge enchiladas, more than I expected but nice to have a couple leftover. Would definitely make again!!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2013
This soup was awesome! I doubled recipe for a school luncheon but tweaked only slightly due to other reviews. Threw frozen chicken breasts in crockpot, used cans of diced tomatoes w/jalapeƱo, no water but instead a 32 oz box Swansons Mexican Tortilla infused broth plus 1 can reg chicken broth, and added 2 cans rinsed black beans. Cooked overnite and in morning shredded chicken (which falls apart easily) and returned to crockpot. Used store bought tortilla chips slightly crushed which tasted fine. Entire crockpot was eaten up and many requests for recipe. Will make again and again!!

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2013
Made these for dinner tonite and loved them! Turned out very light and fluffy. Did add 1 tsp vanilla to the liquid ingredients and let the batter sit for 1/2 hour before hitting the griddle. Would definitely double recipe next time as this makes only 7-8 rather small pancakes.
