Thai Peanut Dip

I just put this in the fridge to chill, but I can't stop licking the bowl. It is delicious! So easy, and made with ingredients I had on hand. I added 1/4 tsp Thai red curry powder, just to see how I'd like it--good and not overpowering. I'll be eating this on everything!

Bacon and Potato Soup

Delicious, made this wonderful soup after hours of snowshoveling, it was great. Followed a reviewer's tip and used milk instead of water to reconsitute stock. I can't get low sodium stock right now, so I used regular but omitted salt. Next time I'll also omit red pepper--it doesn't need it.

Watermelon Summer Salad

I thought this was very good. I prepped all the ingredients and home and transported them in seperate containers to mix just before serving. I used a sweet onion and I think next time I'll just use 1 T. olive oil.

Ginger Steak

I was really looking forward to this. It was afrantic day and I needed something quick. I followed the recipe exactly but all I could taste was dried basil. Sorry but this will not be re-appearing on my dinner table.

Garlicky Baked Butternut Squash

My daughters boyfriend made this for our Thanksgiving dinner. What a Hit!! It was delicious and savory. My daughter and I were fighting over the last spoonful. This is so good.

G's Flank Steak Marinade

Delicious! I got my flank steak a day ahead and marinated it overnight. Six minutes per side and it was juicy and flavorful. This was my first flank steak and it was good!!!!

Caramelized Onion and Horseradish Smashed Potatoes

I thought this was really delicious. When I went to make it I found I had only 1 rather elderly potato. So I made instant mashed and added the seasonings. It was great and my guest had no idea I hadn't made it from scratch!

BUSH'S® Ten Minute Summer Salad

I love this salad! It is quick and delicious and I never get tired of it. The only change I made was to substitute 2 Tablespoons of low-cal Greek salad dressing for the 1/4 cup of Italian dressing, just to lower the fat.

Spanakopita II

This was exactly the flavor I was looking for. Delicious! These were a big hit at the party I made them for. The only changes I made were to cut the veg. oil from 1/2 cup to 2 Tbsp and I only used about half the butter -- I just wanted a lower fat result. Thanks for sharing a great recipe.

Kartoffel Kloesse (Potato Dumplings)

I found these easy to make and faster than I expected. My first batch didn't hold together well, but I found adding another egg white fixed it. These were a very big hit, especially with my son's darling girlfriend.

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

Bodacious Broccoli Salad

Kettle Corn

This is a great recipe! I used half oil and half butter and added just two popcorn kernals. Once they popped I poured in the popcorn, sugar and a little salt. Just keep shaking it.
