Apple Crisp II
I gave it 4 stars because I did make some changes. As some others have posted, I omitted the water and it turned out great. Also, I used just a 1/2 cup sugar and it was still way too sweet. It's probably partially due to the fact that I used Gala apples, which are sweet. I would prefer a tart apple in this, but I was snowed in and I had no choice! So maybe the sugar would be ok with a more tart apple. I would also double the crisp....I didn't think there was quite enough. Besides all that, I really did like it and I'll make it again!

Fish Chowder
Loved this soup! I have never made soup in my life (other than opening a can) and I must say I was pretty impressed with myself! :) Like many of the other posters, I added a lot more Old Bay and salt and pepper. I also used tilapia instead of cod since I couldn't find any cod. It turned out great. One last thing - I liked it better after a few days in the fridge - seemed like the flavor was stronger.

Whipped Cream Frosting
This is so good, my husband and 3 year old were fighting over licking the spoon! I used it on a strawberry cake and it tasted magnificent. Definitely heavenly!
