The Best Chocolate Cake You Ever Ate

This cake was so good. I skipped the cinnamon and used all butter instead of oil in the cake mix. It was really a good cake. Extremely moist and the icing was so yummy. I will definitely make again.

Make-Ahead Turkey Gravy

What a disappointment. The only thing I did different was to use turkey legs - I could not find wings. The gravy tastes like flour. Don't waste your time.

Mom's Best Pork Chops

Yummy! I used Ritz crackers because that was all I had. The only thing I will do differently the next time I make these is to season the cracker crumbs with some garlic and onion powder and maybe some seasoned salt. They came out moist and delicious.

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

It's okay soup. Not bad - but not great either. I did read reviews and added a can of cream of chicken soup to make the soup thicker. I also used my immersion blender to make the soup creamier. Will probably try some other chicken tortilla soup recipes on this site instead of making this again.

Baby Back Ribs

These were so good. They were as good, if not better than what I get at a restaurant. I only marinated for about 3 hours. I did put them under the broiler for a few minutes after baking for 3 hours. Next time I will try a dry rub on them.

Bacon for the Family or a Crowd

This is the only way to cook bacon. I have been doing this for years. I bake at 375 degrees for about 15 to 18 minutes. The bacon turns out perfect everytime.

Onion Rice

This was really good. I fried the onion and rice then put it in my rice steamer. I used chicken broth and added a minced garlic clove. I can't wait to eat the leftovers tomorrow night.

City Chicken

This tasted just like my mom's. Yum. After browning the city chicken - I baked in the oven at 350 for an hour. The meat was perfect and the gravy was delicious. I will be making again and again.

Herb Roasted Pork

This was sooooo good. I was afraid we would not like the sauce - but I was wrong. We loved it. I made the brazilian rice recipe to go with it and the sauce was wonderful on the rice too. Make sure to make extra sauce.
