-- Conquered Julia Child's Beouf Bourguinon on the first try. Was my very first stew/wet roast.
-- Birthday Cake debut in Rolled Fondant (used British brand, not Wilson's; yuck!) turned out remarkably well.
-- The world of naturally fermented pickles is no longer a mystery.
-- My children would rather eat my sausage than a store bought version :)
My cooking tragedies
I fail at anything without a recipe. I'm horrible without explicit instructions. Ah, but once I get a feel for how a dish is put together the recipes get thrown out the window :)
