Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2002
Very enjoyable! Very light and easy to make. Do not put on cookie sheet near oven, the batter gets really soft and sticks. I needed a good sugar cookie recipe, Thanks!

Jam Thumbprints

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2002
The cookies taste very good, but you need to make very deep thumbprints or you will not fit enough jelly in them. I also put the cookies back into the oven after I put the jelly in the center in order to set the jelly. I also by-passed the egg whites and dipped the cookies in powdered sugar (it seemed to stick better that way).

Chocolate Bar Fondue

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2003
Very Good and easy to make. I left out the water so it was thicker. I got a lot of compliments on it. This did not go to waste; I put the left-overs in the ice cream topping container (also very good on crapes).

Bread Machine Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2003
The bread was kind of dry and flat looking. I think this recipe calls for too much garlic and it reacted with the yeast. I don't think I would make it again.

Angel's Yummy Bruschetta

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2003
Wonderful taste! I added just about a ½ teaspoon of oil and a ½ teaspoon of red wine vinegar. It adds extra flavor!

Fruit Dip I

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2003
This fruit dip tastes wonderful! However, I found that it makes a little too much, so I cut the ingredients in half. Other then that…I would NOT change a thing.

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: May 6, 2003
Instead of using real Pepperoni I put a healthy spin and used the turkey pepperoni (it’s really cheep). I also left out the salami. Nobody could tell! I put cheese on the side so people could add it themselves. This has a nice flavor.

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2003
I think this recipe asks for a little too much wine; next time I will reduce the amount a little. Instead of putting in whole chopped mushrooms (yuck!) I added a ½ -can of mushroom soup instead. It really thickened up the sauce and gave a nice flavor. Over all I would make this again because it’s quick and easy.

Chocolate Cookie Mix in a Jar

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2003
This is great!!! The mix fits in the jar every time! I made a batch to make sure this recipe would taste OK and added 1/2 cup oats for a different texture. The cookies turned out very moist. It's a real change from regular chocolate chip cookies.(The oats will not fit in the jar.)

Banana Nut Bread II

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2004
Very good! I set my machine for the 1 lb cycle, I didn't want it to get to crispy. I added 2 tablespoons of cinnamon and substituted zucchini for the bananas.

Garlic-Lemon Double Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2004
Very tasty!!! I did what one reviewer suggested and pounded the chicken flat, filled with cheese, and then roll up (securing with toothpicks). I also used Parmesan instead of Romano. This was so easy. Will do MANY more times :-)

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2004
I added the zucchini in with the wet ingredients too, thanks to comments from another reviewer, worked well! These were VERY moist, but cake-like. Would make again, nice change from the same old zucchini bread.

Cheese Ball I

Reviewed: May 11, 2005
This is a VERY good cheese ball and so easy to make. I made it the day before and let it sit in the fridge overnight. Just make sure the cream cheese is soft enough to mix all the ingredients. I left out the peanut due to family allergies. Family members requested that I make it again this weekend!

Chocolate Cavity Maker Cake

Reviewed: May 11, 2005
This tasted magnificent! There was one small slice leftover from the party. Instead of making it in a bundt pan I made in 2-9inch pans and layered the center with strawberry preserves. I also left out the chocolate chips. When it was cooking there was a wonderful aroma in the house. Yummy!

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: May 11, 2005
This was so easy to make and it packs so much flavor. I left the salsa out and put it in a bowl next to the dip. I was afraid that it would make things soggy. This surprisingly keeps for a few days.
