Banana Oat Muffins

these were good--just need a bit more sweetness, so maybe a sprinkle of course sugar on top before baking would work. might make them again using the other suggestion of mixing brown & white sugar & see how that comes out. i also used the suggestion of using 1/2 wheat flour, as i love to use it whenever i can. it was definitely an easy recipe, though, so i like it for that :)

Affy Tapple Salad

My friend made this for me at a BBQ he hosted. Thankfully he let me take home the leftovers -- it was fabulous. I've made this 3x's now. The amount of peanuts "seems" like a lot, but it is really just right. It's great as a side dish, dessert, snack. I used green apples for 1/2 the amount, and red apples for the other 1/2. Looks more colorful. Enjoy.

Shrimp Tetrazzini

I made exactly as directed and added the cracked pepper. I'm rating it with 5 stars, since my boyfriend said it was the best seafood pasta he's ever had. It was definitely good. I sprinkled garlic powder on a few bites out of curiosity and that wasn't bad either. Maybe next time I'll crush a clove in with the onions.

Danish Kringle

I made this for Easter dessert and it came out great and none was left for me to take home! All I did was make the dough as directed, divided it in 2, filled each with a 1/2 can cherry pie filling and baked as directed. I'm from Wisconsin and this is very close to the Kringle I remember. It was so easy that I will definitely make in the future! I didn't have too much trouble with it dripping onto the pan. It was fine. Thanks for this tasty recipe

Chicken Scampi II

Great flavor! Even my picky brother loved it! Next time I'd probably use slightly less oil, but I thought it had wonderful flavor. Just like shrimp scampi. Very yummy and very very easy!

Fun Taco Cups

I made these for my sister's kids. They love any type of taco and really loved these. I used a corn biscuit this time, but they are just as good w/ regular biscuits. I added a bit of medium salsa to the taco meat for a little more kick.

Au Gratin Potatoes

I made this for a work function. It was delicious! Very flavorful. I added a bit more cheese and a dash of fresh black pepper. I've had many people ask for the recipe! My goal was to make a hearty side dish that my vegetarian work friend could eat at our party. She had 3 helpings and still talks about it.

Creamy Sausage Dip

Made this dip for a party and it was great! The amount this made was just right. We tried it with Fritos Scoops and sesame crackers. Both matched the flavor of the dip. Rich and creamy! Smells delicious while cooking ;o)

Mexican Cream Cheese Rollups
