A good basic hearty tasting lasagna dish. I always make extra and keep in the freezer.

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2004
Very good recipe. For my family, it definitely needed more seasoning and salt, but it was a really good tasting lasagna.

Turtle Cheesecake

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2004
This recipe was really good, even though I did make a few changes. Instead of the individual caramels, I used caramel/toffee ice cream topping; and I also used a really nice Ghiardelli chocolate in place of the choc. chips. The only other change I made was making individual (not mini) cheesecakes instead of one big one. Overall, a really good recipe.

Elaine's Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2004
I give this four stars because of all the changes I made. I used three eggs, 1 1/2 c. peanut butter, and I put sugar on the top before baking. I baked for 11 minutes and they turned out great.

Chicken Saltimbocca

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2004
Great fast chicken dish. I cut down the butter and still had way to much, personal choice I guess. Just make sure to season your chicken before you put the ham on so it will be well flavored. Definitely a new family favorite.

Ginger Veggie Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2004
A good basic stir fry recipe; I use the bag of frozen stir fry veggies to cut down on prep time.

Stuffed Shells I

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2004
This was a great recipe although I did make a few changes. I used manicotti tubes instead of sheels for ease of stuffing. I used all ricotta cheese and no cottage (personal preference) and I also added a 10 oz. boz of spinach to the mixture. We like things with a lot of flavor so I also played around with extra seasoning. Overall, a great basic recipe that can be modified for anyone.

Barbecued Beef

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2004
This recipe is always a winner at my house for kids and adults alike. I usually use a 3-4 lb. pork shoulder instead of beef and it is great. You do need to take the lid off the crock pot the last hour or so to let the sauce thicken up. Thanks for a great recipe.

Fried Cabbage II

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2004
Overall, a good recipe though I did change a few things. There was a little to much grease, but that could be dependant on the type of bacon. I used more onion and I also added some Tony Cachere's seasoning for some kick and added flavor.

Caramel Brownies II

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2002
Absolutely the best brownies I have ever had...I like to serve them warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and hot fudge and caramel drizzled over it.
