Chocolate Pecan Pie I

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2015
I'm not a fan of pecans but people absolutely love this pie when I make it. I leave out the coffee because I don't have any. People say it's a sensational pie.

Tonya's Terrific Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2014
These were great. Hubby liked them. Daughter liked them. They ate all the meat so I made it again and it was gone just as fast.

Honey Mustard Dressing II

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2014
Really, really good. I made it with non-fat yogurt to save on calories and it was still very good. It's a little thin but i think that's because of the non-fat yogurt. Overall, very, very good.

Beer Brats

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2014
I'm not a fan of beer or brats but holy smokes these are super good. Used two 25 oz cans of the cheapest beer I could find, two onions and sliced 5 garlic cloves in place of the garlic powder. Hubby and our friends loved, loved, loved them. This is the first time I've had a brat and really enjoyed it.

Fabulous Wet Burritos

Reviewed: May 21, 2014
These were really good. Took other people's advice and eliminated the soup and just doubled the enchilada sauce. Also used leftover turkey since I didn't have ground beef. Very, very tasty. Hubby and daughter enjoyed them thoroughly. Will definitely be making again.

Absolutely Awesome BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2012
Oh boy is this good stuff. Just taste tasting it and the flavor was great. Plan on pouring it over a pork tenderloin and letting it cook in the crock pot. Just can't wait.

Country Apple Dumplings

FANTABULOUS!!! Have made this twice for my family they liked it so much. Super easy and next time I'll use the low cal dough and diet soda. Used 3/4 cup brown sugar second time around. Delicioso!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2004
I have finally found a pot roast worthy of making. So simple and easy. Instead of using onion soup mix I used garlic and herb soup mix and substituted beef broth for the water. Served it with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Good stuff.

Basic Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2004
Superb! Added 4 ozs of cream cheese; garlic powder; and less than 1/2 cup of milk. Served these with a pot roast I made and it was a huge hit. This will definitely be my new standard mashed potato recipe.

Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2004
This wasn't bad, it just wasn't that good. It has a weird after taste to it. It smells great cooking though.

Super Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2004
For being so easy it was a lot better than I expected. Served it over rice and it was pretty darn good. My five-year-old enjoyed it. This one makes it into the recipe book.

Fajita Marinade I

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2004
Now this made a pretty good fajita. I used boneless/skinless chicken breast and let it marinate overnight. This makes better fajitas than you find at most restaurants. Definitely worth a try.

Oven Fries

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2004
As is, this is a three star recipe. The spices should have been doubled perhaps even tripled for the potatoes to have some spice to them. The potatoes turn a very appealing golden color but the spicy taste is lacking. Next time I'll double the spice mixture.

Garlic and Herb Marinade

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2004
I thought this made for a real greasy piece of meat. The flavor was mediocre. You could really taste the oil. I just hate that.

Grilled Asian Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2004
We didn't find much flavor in this dish and I even added more garlic. I even marinated the chicken overnight. It was a disappointment after reading all the positive reviews. Won't be making it again.

Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2004
I'm not a shrimp eater by my husband gave this 5 stars, easy. He said it's very tasty and didn't overpower the taste of the shrimp. I'll say it's very easy to prepare and easy to cook. Instead of tomato paste I used spaghetti sauce.
