A Very Popular BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2013
This sauce is a good base, but for me I needed more heat and sweet. About a 3/4 tablespoon of sriracha and about a tablespoon and a half of molasses made this peeeerfect!

Anginettes

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2012
I have made this cookie with my family my whole life. This is a traditional Italian Christmas cookie. It does not need altering as past posters have suggested. This is the way it is supposed to taste, and is perfect. I was going to post my own Anginette recipe on here, but this is pretty much it. They are light, citrus-y, and delicious. It isn't an orange or lemon cookie, that is why it isn't called an orange or lemon cookie. It is essentially a sugar cookie with a hint of other flavors, and I thank you so much for sharing it so I don't have to! :)

Pork Marsala

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2012
This was SOOOOOO good and easy. I didn't use all the butter though, I just let the sauce reduce a little longer and added a touch of cornstarch to thicken before serving. Can't wait to make again!

Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2012
I make Irish soda bread every year for St. Patty's and this year I couldn't find my recipe so I used this one. Very good, though I did make some changes that I did remember from my recipe. I added two tbsps of caraway seeds, and used half golden and half regular raisins. De-lish!

Pesto Chicken Florentine

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2012
This was great and super easy for busy nights. Knorr's also makes a creamy pesto sauce, so I used this instead of both the pesto and the alfredo packet. We watch our caloric intake as well, so I used skim milk in the preparation (still very creamy, I assure you) and whole wheat pasta. So good.

Spicy Apricot Chicken Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2012
I made just as directed, consistency and texture were correct, but the sauce was bland. Needed a lot of seasoning and was just ho-hum. Won't make again.

Bourbon Pecan Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
So so so yummy! We watch our calorie intake, so I made some changes. Instead of pan frying in butter, I coated the chicken in a beaten egg, then dusted with the nut mixture, and baked at 375 for about 40 minutes (turning once). When I made the sauce, I added a little bit of margarine at the end instead of the butter. It was fantastic! My fiance and I really enjoyed it. Great served with a vegetable. I am going to make an Asian style sauce next time with almonds instead of pecans. Thanks for sharing will definitely make again!!!

Shepherd's Pie

Pretty good, but needed more seasoning. We also used the light versions of the two soups, and it was yummy. Also we seasoned the potatoes with lots of garlic. Will make again!

Cranberry Applesauce Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2012
These were great, and are easy to change up with different fruits/nuts. I decreased the calorie and fat content further by using 1 and 1/2 cups of applesauce, no oil, and 1/2 Splenda for baking instead of sugar. They were slightly more dense than they would have been with the oil, but a good trade off for the calories. Making strawberry pecan ones this afternoon!
