Well it is the absolute PEAK of summertime this coming weekend! Our great nation's Independence Day is here and with it people will be grilling, chillin' and soaking up the sun. I absolutely love being an American :)

This weekend we will go up the river on our houseboat and the kids will swim and we'll take some of these excellent grilling recipes and try them out. I'll have to report back on how it turns out. I might try the Grilled Lime Chicken recipe I recently saved and possibly the California Grilled Veggie Sandwich and I am absolutely smitten with the idea of trying A Belly-full of Grilled Bananas and I am definitely making the Patriotic Poke Cake so I will let you know how it all works out.

I would love for you to share with me what you will be doing this weekend.

Happy 4th!
