Asian Ginger Dressing

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2013
Way too much soy sauce, too watery & too oily! I had to add more vinegar & honey to tone it down then ended up skimming some of the oil off. Even after that it was still too strong for salad, so I ended up using it as a dressing for soba noodles. It could be good with some changes.

Perfect Sesame Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2013
Good, but sauce needs more of a savory flavor or something. Too sweet, even with reducing sugar to 1/2 cup instead of one cup. Next time I'll use just 1/4 cup & might add some ginger & extra soy sauce because it definitely needs more flavor.

Delicious. Just like my grandmother used to make at Thanksgiving dinners.

White Cake Frosting I

Reviewed: Aug. 17, 2012
WHY do people insist on rating recipes when they've screwed around with the ingredients & amounts? You can't give this recipe a poor rating when you've substituted half the shortening with butter & then complain about the consistency or greasiness! This recipe is perfect for decorated cakes with a good, traditional birthday cake flavor.

Hot Artichoke Dip with Sun-Dried Tomatoes

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2012
I'm giving it a 4 for the recipe as it is, but to make it a 5, do as another reviewer suggested & substitute 1/2 cup cream cheese (I used the reduced fat kind) for 1/2 cup of the mayo. This makes it WAY less greasy. I made it as written the first time, but it was way too greasy. This method makes a huge difference, & in my opinion, makes it more flavorful as well. The last 2 times I made it I used Roma tomatoes, seeded & choppped, instead of sundried. I've made this dip at least 5 times now & everyone always loves it. I serve it with the artisanal bread that has cloves of garlic baked into it.

School Lunchroom Cafeteria Rolls

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2012
This recipe is the closest one I've found to the rolls they used to serve in my high school. Absolutely delicious. I halved the recipe & it made about 20 rolls.
