Baked Oatmeal II
Delicious, easy, comforting breakfast - my 5 year old wants this every single day! Made a couple adjustments based on my personal preferences: Used water instead of milk Cut back to 1/4 cup butter Used 1 tablespoon vanilla instead of 2 teaspoons. Also, please note that the 1 cup brown sugar is NOT packed - we used 1 cup unpacked brown sugar, and it was just the right amount of sweet. This might be because we didn't use milk, which can add a lot of sugar, too.

Sweet and Sour Sauce I
Love this recipe as is - my 4 year old loves to dip chicken tenders in it! Only adjustment I do is to use low-sodium soy sauce, my personal preference. Also, once it's ready I take out some for me and add crushed red pepper to it for some kick :) For meatballs, this sauce mixed with equal parts bottled BBQ sauce and warmed in a crockpot is easy and delicious!

Hawaiian Smoked Sausage
I grew up eating this, and now it's one of my family's favorite recipes. I can actually get my 4 year old son to eat vegetables, lol! When I don't have much time or if I don't have the produce on hand, I use frozen stir-fry veggies, and it's still fantastic! I do cut back on the ginger by about half, though, otherwise the 4 year old will say it's too spicy.
