Kielbasa with Brussels Sprouts in Mustard Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
Just made this tonight - I loved it, my family not so much, but they don't really enjoy Brussels sprouts anyway so too bad for them! ;) I was very surprised by the actual sweetness of the dish - I thought it would be overly pungent with the coarse-grain dijon, but it was just delicious.

Microwave Potato Chips

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2010
These worked very well for us. I used parchment that I lightly sprayed with cooking spray. The first batch I cut with a vegetable peeler, as suggested by another reviewer, sprinkled with sea salt, and they cooked very quickly. To save some effort, I made the second batch with the 2mm disc of my food processor. They took several minutes longer to cook, but were just as tasty. Also, I did not have to re-spray the paper and I used it several times. I think a mandoline that can slice as thin as the vegetable peeler would be ideal for prepping. Great recipe!

Fudgy Milk Chocolate Fondue

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2009
This was perfect for our chocolate fondue fountain! I've used other recipes from this site, but this was by far easier, less expensive, and just as delicious. My husband also loved that the fountain was very easy to clean when we were finished. :)

Cheese Fondue

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
We literally finished this a few minutes ago - it was absolutely fantastic! I wasn't sure my children would like it, but they gobbled it up with soft pretzels from the oven.I used Sauvignon Blanc for the wine and followed the directions exactly. There was no problem with clumping. Delicious! Thanks and Happy New Year!

Hugh's Dry Rub

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2008
I made this a while ago for pork chops, and we thought it was good...then my husband used it on the turkey he grilled yesterday for Thanksgiving, and it was awesome! He rubbed it all over the turkey and sprinkled it inside the cavity. The turkey meat was outstanding, and it seems to be even tastier today.

Seasoned Oyster Crackers

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2008
I used a packet of Italian dressing mix by mistake, and they were still yummy! When I saw that I had grabbed the wrong dressing packet, I just omitted the dillweed and lemon pepper and added a pinch or two of salt. I guess the recipe is versatile as well! LOL

Perfect Turkey

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
I have been making Thanksgiving dinner for 14 years and have made turkey several different ways. This turkey recipe is now one of my top two favorites! It was perfect for a non-Thanksgiving turkey craving. I saved the drippings to make gravy for open-faced turkey sandwiches with mashed potatoes the next night. Delish!!! Thanks for making turkey fun during the "off-season"!

Sarge's EZ Pulled Pork BBQ

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2007
I am at this moment making this for the second time. I like to drain off the liquid after it cooks for hours and hours, and I add Famous Dave's BBQ sauce. The last time I made it, I literally used one fork to shred the meat by just sticking the fork in and gently twisting. The meat was unbelievably tender! Thanks for a great recipe. :-)

California Roll Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2007
My 11yo daughter and I are having this salad right now, and it's just wonderful. We omitted the lettuce and added strips of nori as suggested. It looks beautiful and tastes almost exactly like a Cali roll, just a little more moist. Thanks for a simply delicious recipe!

Aaahh! Potato Soup

I used regular potatoes, and the soup was wonderful! Perfect for a cold, rainy day. Thank you so much for an awesome, not to mention unbelievably easy, recipe.

Make-Ahead Mashed Potatoes

I make these every year for Thanksgiving. I make the potatoes on Wednesday, and instead of baking them on Thanksgiving, I put them in the crockpot about 2 hours before dinner time. They are hot and taste delicious!

Tasty Tortellinis

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2006
I have made this many times in the last few years and it is always a hit. In fact, I must brag that at the last potluck we went to, my pan of this was the first one emptied. I add salami chunks, provolone chunks, red peppers, artichokes, black and green olives, and sometimes mushrooms. I usually use dried basil because I have it on hand. My husband just loves this dish. Thanks for a great recipe!

Cake Mix Cookies VIII

I have made these several times now, and they are always perfect. They are like the love child of a cookie and a brownie. I have used both butter and margarine, but they are really better with butter.

Key Lime and Pretzel Pie

I made this in a 9x9 pan, and it was wonderful! I made the crust and filling as directed, then I spread the topping all over the filling and sprinkled fresh lime zest on top before serving. It looked beautiful and tasted great.

Bubba's Pretzel Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2003
A rare occurrence, I had all of the ingredients on hand, and whipped this up. The kids loved it, as did I. The pretzel crust made a wonderful slightly salty contrast to the sweet toppings. It was also a breeze to make; I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks, Allygator!

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2003
My family loved these! They were soooooo easy, and turned out very tender, juicy, and flavorful. Make sure in the browning step you are only browning them, not trying to cook all the way thru, or they will be overdone. Great recipe!!

Microwave Pralines

I used half and half by mistake, and they turned out beautifully. I would coarsely chop the pecans next time so they are easier for the kids to eat, but overall, these are our new Christmas favorites!!
