About this Cook
I am the mother of four beautiful daughters and three amazing grandkids! They are the pride and joy of my life! I started cooking and baking at a very young age and still LOVE it! I decorate cakes and make cookies and candy on the side during the holidays for people.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake and have developed some wonderful recipes through trial and error over the years. I make an amazing white chocolate raspberry cheesecake and a scrumptious oatmeal chocolate chip cookie just to mention a couple. I love to cook and have an amazing recipe for barbequed ribs. My families favorite!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My daughters and I always get together one weekend before Christmas to make candy and cookies for Christmas. It's always so much fun! I also have a few customers on the side that I've been baking for for years.
My cooking triumphs
For my daughters graduation party I made a chicken salad recipe that I adapted from a friend. Everyone was in love with it and wanted the recipe. I also decorate cakes and have created some pretty fun masterpieces over the years. Two years ago I made a walleye cake for a friend that turned out amazing! I used a meat tenderizer to make the scales look real! :)
My cooking tragedies
I truly haven't had too many cooking tradegies accept for the many times I've burnt cookies because I get busy doing something else. One time I mixed up a batch of my favorite oatmeal chocolate chip cookies put a pan in the oven, forgot they were in there and drove to the grocery store. I'm lucky I didn't burn the house down. When I came back an hour later the cookies were so black and burnt I had to throw away the cookie sheet!

French Silk Chocolate Pie I
This is a great recipe and very similar to mine but I substitute the melted baking chocolate for 3T baking cocoa and 1 T. vegetable oil. I think it gives it a better flavor. I also double the recipe for more filling. My family and friends all rave about it. :)
