I've been cooking for 35 years. Mostly picked up my cooking skills from my mother and recipes from friends. Only cookbook I use is a locally published one for the Easter Seals called Angels & Friends volumes 1 & 2.
My favorite things to cook
Pasta w/home made sauce, soups and stews, any kind of chicken. I always make large amounts and freeze the rest in single size servings.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to cook Italian and do a lot of Ethnic cooking. I stir fry a lot of my recipes. I cook mainly chicken breasts, very little red meat. Lately, since I live alone, I go for fast easy meals, frozen entrees.
