Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2003
This is super fantastic! My mom and husband loved it! (I'm not known for great pies so this is a shocker!). I used milk verses water and the filling was super creamy and set up just perfect. This recipe is in our keeper box!

Crispy Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2003
My only complaint would be time cosuming, but the taste!!!! I made it early in the day and I had my boys asking constantly for "just one piece". We all claim this for our family recipe!

Swedish Nuts II

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2003
Either people loved them or hated them. I personally loved them, they were all gone before we came home from church, so the majority of people enjoyed them. Very easy to make too!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2003
The chicken was a little bland, great for last minute dinner idea though. The kids liked it, but my husband and I thought it needed more kick.

Give this recipe 20 stars! We had these Easter morning and the crowd went wild! I usually don't enjoy my own cooking to much (after all the work and taste testing...), but I ate two of these! Thank you for this recipe we will be making these over and over!

Grilled Asparagus

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2003
I made asparagus for the first time using this recipe. I really enjoyed it (this was the first time as an adult eating it). My kids ate it with only a little bit of complaining (with 5 kids that is pretty much a miracle!) Will make again.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2003
I made this recipe for my husband and I for a date night, it is great! I used provolone for my chicken. I only had Italian seasoned bread crumbs to roll them in, won't do that again... I will be making this for the whole family soon!

Chocolate Eclair Dessert

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2003
This recipe is the best! Made it the first time for the kids, but the adults ate most of it! It's best to make the morning you plan on serving, helps the graham crackers soften. Everyone loves it, and so easy to make!!

Double-Decker Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2002
I took the advice of others and used less sugar.(2 cups). The family loves it, I would prefer a less sugary more dark chocolate rich taste. Next time! The overall apperance and texture is great!

Cola Pot Roast II

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2002
Was the family surprised over the "special" ingredient! They loved it. I cooked the roast with carrots and potatoes, will add the potatoes later in the cooking stage next time. We also had mashed potatoes with the delicious gravy to pour over them! This is the way to cook a roast!

Homemade Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2002
Wonderful soup, I cooked the soup w/out carrots & potatoes most of the day, adding them in the last hour. For a little extra taste I added some cumin. The whole family loved it, great for a blustery and rainy day here in the great northwest!

Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake I

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2002
This cake is divine!! My husband had three pieces of cake for dessert(he is not a sweet lover!). I also added a lemon cream cheese glaze for the top of the cake, delicious! Also had to cook the cake for an extra 15 min with foil on top. Thank you so much for the recipe!

Aussie Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2002
Overall my husband and I enjoyed the chicken, a little on the sweet side for us. Only one of our five children liked the chicken though! I would make again for adults, just not so much honey and use a spicier mustard!
