Slow Cooker Turkey Breast
Can someone please tell me why I have never made a turkey breast in the slow cooker? I cannot even tell you how good this came out. 7 hours on low & BAM...a delicious and very moist turkey breast was ready. The meat was so moist it fell right off the bone! I made some gravy, stuffing, corn & cranberry sauce and it was like a mini Thanksgiving dinner on a Wednesday night! I will definitly make this one again!

Easy Beef Stroganoff
So I am NOT a fan of mushrooms. I won't touch a dish that has mushrooms in it. I never made beef stroganoff because I didn't think it would taste good if I left the mushrooms out. However, this recipe looked easy enough and thought I'd give it a try. I followed it, except for leaving out the mushrooms. I am pleased to say that it was delicious! I served it over the noodles, which I added some butter too. My husband got home a few hours after I made it & he said he re-heated well. I have plenty of leftovers for lunch today...yummy! Thanks for the great recipe...this one is a keeper for sure!

My Best Clam Chowder
Well, I am really not sure how to rate this one. I have lived in New England my entire life so I think I expected this to be the type of chowder we have around here. It was a very basic recipe, but the taste just didn't do it for me. It was thick & creamy, but didn't taste very much like anything but cream & butter. I missed the clam taste that I am used to from the chowders around here. So, I may make this again but I would add more clam juice and maybe cut back on the half & half a little. I did add bacon to my chowder but left out the carrots, because carrots in chowder just seemed a little odd to me.
