Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2011
Excellent... The only changes I made were instead of salmon I used shrimp and instead of the butter I used someones suggestion of evaporated Milk to cut back on calories... There was so much I shared with the little old lady downstairs!! We all loved it, and she thinks i'm a master chef ;o)

Cabbage Beef Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2011
This was Excellent!! I did however make some changes. I used ground Turkey, 1 can Kidney beans, 1 can Garbanzo beans, 3/4 cup Matchstick Carrots, 32 oz low sodium beef broth instead of bouillon cubes, 20 oz tomato sauce, 14 oz of chunky tomatoes, i originally used 5 cups of cabbage but half way through eating the soup I added more cabbage. So next time I think I would do like 8 cups of cabbage...

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
This was good except for the fact that I didn't taste any garlic in the chicken... I let the oil and garlic sit for about 5 hours and I even warmed a pan with the mixture before dipping the chicken in...

Carrabba's® Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2011
Wow So Fast and So easy!!! I added 1/2 cup vegetable broth (didnt have chicken broth) to the marsala wine... And instead of 6 tbsp of butter I only added 2 (less calories!) And it still came out awesome..

Roasted Potatoes with Greens

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
Very Very Very good!! I did however make some changes/ additions to the dish. I used kale instead of spinach and I boiled the kale in 2 ounces of low sodium chicken broth and I added to the potatoes in the end like the spinach. I also added chopped onions. This dish is versatile and I will def do again!

Sheryl's Corn and Crab Chowder

This was great. But very very time consuming!!! And sooooo many ingredients. I followed everything to the T. Except I used the advice of another member and instead of the butter I used Evaporated Milk to cut back on calories.

Orange Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2012
Came out great!! I did make some changes however... I cut the pork chopsinto rectangular peices and dipped in flour before I sauted them. (I added cracked pepper, salt, ginger, garlic powder and mesquite seasoning to the flour.) I doubled the OJ and brown sugar and only used 1/8th soy sauce. I added matchstick carrots (1/2 cup), sliced red, orange and yellow sweet peppers (about 8 med sized peppers) Garlic and half a medium onion. instead of adding corn starch I added low sodium chicken broth like someone suggested... I added the chicken and let it simmer down and thicken up. Came out great!!! Thanks all for your recipe and suggestions.
