Pumpkin Fluff Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2007
This was really easy, and everyone liked it. The recipe confused me though. The instant pudding size didn't correspond, so I think I used much less than I was supposed to, and I used half the cool whip, but it didn't seem to matter. I used the cheesecake flavored pudding mix too. Served it with Cinnamon Graham Cracker sticks, which pair nicely.

Sangria! Sangria!

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2007
Double batch was all gone! Left out the sugar and used ginger ale. Big hit. Only refrigerated for about 5 hours, and was still really good. Will definitely plan ahead next time, as I am sure that it's even better after sitting overnight.

Pumpkin Cheesecake in a Gingersnap Crust

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2006
Thought the filling was very tasty, but not a fan of the crust, though some of my guests liked it. It fell in a bit though, but perhaps that's the baker rather than the recipe? Definitely need pan of water beneath.

Irish Cream Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2006
Used Baileys with a hint of caramel for the glaze, and it turned out excellent. Moist and yummy. Some debate on the nuts among my guests, but that seems to just be a personal preference. Putting them on top made it hard to pierce the top, so I'd like to try it with them mixed into the batter. Great recipe.

Baked Onion Dip II

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2006
Very quick and easy to make. I substitued half the mayo with sour cream, totally forgot the parmesan (but would like to remember that next time, as I bet it makes a nice final touch) and blotted it with a paper towel after the oven, and my guests raved about it. People who generally aren't big on onions couldn't stop eating it. It was devoured. Only made a half batch, which was devoured--no leftovers. Figure it would be good served in a bread bowl. Will definitely make again, and I know my friends will request it. Great recipe, and a pleasant surprise! --Made it again, in a bread bowl, forgot to sub half the mayo with sr crm, and remembered the parmesan. Not greasy at all. Once again, fantastic, and my guests just raved about it. Couldn't be easier.

Mary's Roasted Red Pepper Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2006
Fabulous recipe to tinker with as you please and still have it turn out great. I had a cheddar/jack mix, so I used that, and I used 1/2c mayo/1/2c sour cream to cut down on grease, and I didnt have dijon mustard, so I used Cleveland Stadium mustard (its a brown mustard) and my guests loved it--said it was a definite keeper. Also added a bit of horseradish, and only the 7 oz jar of peppers. Served with Frito scoops. So, this recipe is not too sensitive--you can substitute, and it still turns out as a crowd pleaser. Very easy and quick to make, and goes over very well. I quickly patted excess liquid from my roasted peppers to make sure there wasn't too much liquid, and it turned out excellent. Definite keeper. Think it would go well served in bread bowl with bread pieces or with cut up pieces of bagel. Very versatile as to type of chip/bread for dipping.

Outstanding! Used with filets, marinated for about 1 1/2 hours. Definitely make extra for dipping. All my guests loved it!
