OREO® Triple Layer Chocolate Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2012
I made this pie for a July 4th cookout and it was a hit! It was also one of the easiest recipes I've ever followed. Next time, I would follow some of the other reviewers' advice and put the pie in the freezer for 30 minutes before adding the next layer, but only simply to add to the presentation factor. The only changes I made were that I used store brand Oreo's and a premade Oreo pie crust, but only because I was in a hurry to make it. I've made pie crusts using cookies and butter before and it is also very easy. Great recipe and I can't wait to make it again soon!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: May 5, 2011
I LOVE this recipe!!! I made it for the first time last night. I wanted to test it out before making it for a get-together. My boyfriend, my dad, and I ate almost half the dish! It was sooo good. I made a few variations: I used low-fat, store-brand cream cheese and it worked just as well as regular, brand-name cream cheese. I also mixed the shredder cheddar cheese inside and also topped the dish with some so the top layer was a layer of cheese. I also mixed all of the ingredients on the stove-top (low heat), then put it into a baking pan and stuck it in the oven for about 20 minutes.

Easy PHILLY OREO Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 6, 2011
Oh...my...gosh! This was my first time making a cheesecake so I was preparing for it to be terrible, but this was AMAZING!!! I made 2 small changes (as recommended by a lot of other reviews). I added more Oreos than the recipe called for. It called for 24, I probably used closer to 35-40 (haha, I love Oreos!) The inside of mine was therefore a lot darker than in the picture...which was fine by me! And fine by everyone else who ate it. I also added two teaspoons of vanilla instead of just one. I will definitely be making this again!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2012
I made this chicken pot pie a few months ago and just never got around to writing a review. Well, it was delicious! Per my boyfriend's request, I omitted the celery, and added corn and a few potatoes. I was afraid the potatoes would dry it out a little, so I added some extra broth. It turned out perfectly - very moist and delicious! I will be making this again!

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2012
I made this last night and I love it! The only changes I made were that I used a chocolate pie crust, Neufchatel cheese, and light whipped topping. I also added chocolate ice cream topping and Reese's miniatures to the top. I find that it sets up much nicer if I just leave it in the freezer and then serve it. It gets much too soft in the freezer, but then that also may be due to the fact that I halved the recipe so that it only made one pie. Overall, I love this recipe and I will definitely be making this dessert again!

Peanut Butter Bars I

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2012
These are SO good!!! They taste even better than Reese's Peanut Butter cups. I just made them today and couldn't believe how delicious they are for a "no bake" recipe. I had to alter the recipe so that it would fit in a 8x8 inch pan because I was using my 9x13 inch pan for something else. They turned out perfectly except for the peanut butter part being a little gooey (which also caused the peanut butter and chocolate to separate a little). I mean, no one minded, but as far as presentation goes, they could have looked better. I think this may have been due to me altering the recipe for a smaller pan though. Overall, this was an amazing recipe and I WILL be making them again...in a 9x13 inch pan ;) Oh! Also, I put the peanut butter layer in the freezer for about 5-10 minutes before adding the chocolate. It seemed to keep the chocolate from running.
