Very yummy recipe! We didn't have any bacon handy so instead we added leftover spiral cut ham. We will be saving this recipe to reference again!

Awesome...my husband agrees. We use half the amount of cornbread suggested. We like to taste the meat and vegetables more.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2013
It makes a lot..about 12 hearty servings...My husband and i love eating this soup in the cooler months. We have started freezing it in individual containers enough for two. It is tastes even more delicious reheated. And it is so nice.. on those cold, dark winter months when there is no desire to prepare a healthy, warm meal. Also great with crusty bread and butter.

Eclair Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2012
This one is a keeper!! YUMMY!! I made this dessert for my hubby's bday. He loves Boston cream pie so I thought this would be to his pleasing...It sure is!! He couldn't stop after one large serving. And he also could not believe the recipe is semi-homemade since I usually bake from scratch. Things I changed... *I used french vanilla pudding mixes. *I topped with chocolate ganache recipe submitted by INGRIDEVOGEL via allrecipes (but I used organic pure vanilla in place of the rum in the ganache recipe)super easy to make!! **The last thing...I used a smaller clear casserole dish (8x10x3)approx...It made my slices of dessert more dense..If you use this smaller pan you only need about 1/2 recipe for the ganache topping. If you are using 13x9 pan you need about 2/3 of the ganache recipe.

Passion Bars

Reviewed: May 24, 2011
I made these heavenly passion bars this past Sunday to send to school for a Thank You/Good bye present for my daughters teachers. One girl said they were the best she ever had, better than any brownie. I altered the recipe slightly..using dark chocolate m&m's..in pastel colors.. we had left from Easter, in place of the semi- sweet chips. They turned out so cute and springing looking. As with any bar recipe, the outside edge always turns out a bit more crunchy than the middle so I trimmed off an inch around the edge of the pan after it cooled. I save the edges in the freezer to eat as an yummy ice cream topper later. This recipe is soo easy. You must try it!!

Creamy Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2012
*I followed this recipe exactly as it is written. This is a good chocolate frosting recipe...and I have made some bad ones! *I used it to decorate a box chocolate cake mix. The flavor is just right...milk chocolaty...this is not dark and rich if that's what you're looking for. *The consistency is similar to a store bought frosting. I used a bag and tip to give a decorated edge to the cake and it holds up pretty well. *Inexpensive ingredient list.. and quick and easy to make.

This recipe has a good flavor and consistency. I added half of a lemon zest. It's a good lemon bar, but the best I one that I have ever had comes from the recipe book called 101 things to do with a cake mix:)

It is a great recipe. I added a tablespoon of brown sugar to the sauce and used no bake noodles in place of whole wheat noodles. Good flavor. Will make again.

Homemade Pizza Supreme

This is a crust review only...Great tasting..Not yeasty like some recipes for crust. I bake first, then topped and baked again just like recipe says to. I did add an additional cup of flour to the dough before kneading. I will use this again.
