Cranberry Squares

There doesn't seem to be enough batter to spread over the bottom or top; so I followed another suggestion to double the batch; however this was too much and threw off the balance of the cake and the jelly filling. I would say stick with the original and it would turn out a lot better.

Southern Candied Sweet Potatoes

I used this recipe and combined it with another; adding a little OJ to the mix 1/2 cup to be exact as I had doubled the recipe. Then followed this other than that. Delicous

PHILADELPHIA Spiced Pumpkin Cheesecake

Great flavor; although it makes a lot more than filling for one cheesecake. I had enough to make two...I think my pie dish may have been a little shallow; so I made a second one. I added extra pumpkin spice though to give it a little more flavor.

Bacon Rosemary Mashed Potatoes

I added another teaspoon of rosemary as I had a lot of potatoes and I didn't add the bacon; so I cooked down the garlic and onions in an extra virgin olive oil. These are delicious mashed potatoes

Peach Upside-Down Cake III

This was delicious! It does not have enough batter though. I read some of the reviews and doubled the batter portion to make it enough to fill around the peaches. The recipe is so good though. The peaches are so sweet and balance out the light batter. I added extra cinnamon though.

Creme Brulee III

This is slightly runny and not very creme brulee like. I found it to be more like a whipped pudding than a thick custard that is creme brulee. It did not taste bad but, I would not make this again.

Venison with Blackberry Wine Sauce

I braised the vension in some of the merlot to give it more flavor. I think this sauce is amazing, but it needs a little more so that there is enough for each steak. I used tenderlion pieces instead of steak and the meat was so tender with this sauce on top I fell in love.

Fiery Fish Tacos with Crunchy Corn Salsa

Wow! This is so spicy at least for me. I loved it but wow its hot. The fresh salsa is great, I would reduce the ceyenne pepper by one tablespoon next time to kill some of the spice.

Cheesy Vegetable Lasagna

Prep time wasn't that bad, the lasagna was delicious; it needed more than a 1/2 cup of spinach mixture so I would modify it to have four cups of milk and a little more spinach so that it wasn't so thin on top; it really needed a cup on top and on bottom to really make it rich and creamy.
