Turkey Jambalaya

I use the green onion turkey or chicken sausage the local grocer carries. I use brown jasmine rice cooked in chicken stock in the automatic rice cooker. That takes about two hours on the brown rice setting, but it's worth it! This is one FINE recipe!!

Autumn Cheesecake

I don't like cheesecake, but my daughter wanted to try to bake one and I picked this recipe. I'll have to re-evaluate my cheesecake stance. It was certainly fluffier than the dense cheesecakes I didn't care for. We added juice of one lemon to the apple slices to prevent browning while we did other preparation, then just decided to keep it in for the bake. I think it added a great tartness since we used sweet apples instead of Granny Smith types.

Cranberry Brisket

Using Catalina makes a wonderful difference. I used dried cherries in place of cranberries and it was still moist. My family left no leftovers.
